I obtained my PhD in English Language Teaching (ELT) and Applied Linguistics from the University of Warwick, United Kingdom. I gained my Master of Arts in Language Studies from the University of Lancaster, United Kingdom and my Bachelor of Education degree with a double major in TESL and English Literature from the University of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. My areas of specialization include English Language Teaching, Applied Linguistics, Bilingualism, Teaching English to Young Learners, and qualitative research. I have received grants from FRGS, PRGS, Industry and UUM on these research areas. Currently, I am working on research related to Online Learning Effectiveness in rural primary schools, Penambahbaikan Kualiti di Pusat Perkembangan dan Pendidikan Awal kanak-kanak di Malaysia menggunakan aplikasi e-QIAS, Socialpreneurship for Urban Youths, and Action-research Collaboration between Affin bank and UUMKL: Boosting SPM Readiness for SMK Seri Rampai's form four students, through project Mathematics & English (PROME). I have also published my research findings in international journals and proceedings.
