I am an English lecturer at the School of Languages, Civilization & Philosophy (SLCP), Universiti Utara Malaysia. I have a master's degree in TESOL from West Virginia University, USA and has been teaching English to ESL learners for more than 30 years. I am currently teaching Morphology and Syntax in the Master in Applied Linguistics programme under the Department of Language and Linguistics, SLCP. My research interests include Writing Apprehension in ESL, writing assessment and evaluation, morphology and syntax. Together with three other colleagues, I have received an FRGS grant from the government to do a research on school leadership among high school students.
