Dr. Usman Abdullahi holds a Ph.D. in Public Administration from Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM), a Master’s degree in Public Policy and Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration from Bayero University, Kano, as well as a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Public Administration from Kano State Polytechnic. With over a decade of experience in university administration, he progressed from Administrative Officer to Principal Assistant Registrar at the Nigeria Police Academy, Kano, before transitioning fully into academia. He currently serves as a Lecturer I in the Department of Political Science at the same institution. His research focuses on the resilience and sustainability of public sector organizations, human resource management (HRM), and public policy analysis. He leverages this expertise to promote evidence-based decision-making and explore the intersection of policy, management, and organizational resilience. Passionate about enhancing the capacity of public institutions to navigate complex challenges, he is committed to advancing public sector excellence through research, collaboration, and strategic planning.
