Dr. Mohd Ahsani A. Malek is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Psychology & Counselling, School of Applied Psychology, Social Work & Policy, College of Arts and Sciences, Universiti Utara Malaysia. He received his Bachelor's (Hons) in Psychology Counselling and Master's in Psychology Counselling from University Malaysia Sabah. He obtained his PhD in Psychology (Counseling) from the University of Kebangsaan Malaysia. He is a registered counsellor with Lembaga Kaunselor Malaysia. His areas of interest include Career Counselling, Correctional Counseling and Rehabilitation Counselling. He also collaborated with several other academicians in his research projects funded by Higher Education Ministry (eg: FRGS), and external agencies (eg: Malaysian Prison Department).
