I received my teaching training at the Sultan Abdul Halim Teaching College (MPSAH), Sungai Petani, Kedah in the field of Primary School Studies/Early Childhood Education (PSR /PAKK) from 1991 to 1993. I’ve started my career as an Assistant Teacher at Sekolah Kebangsaan Haji Kudong, Kota Kuala Muda with effect from 1 December 1993. On 1 June 1994, I moved to Sekolah Kebangsaan Petani Jaya, Sungai Petani and served as a Preschool Teacher until December 1998. On 1 January 1999, I served as a Preschool Teacher at Annex Preschool, Sultan Abdul Halim Teachers College before changing its name to Sultan Abdul Halim Teaching Institute (IPSAH) and now known as the Sultan Abdul Halim Campus Teacher Education Institute (IPGKSAH). In 2003, I continued my bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education at the University of Malaya and completed it with First Class Honors in 2006. I then continued my studies and obtained my master’s degree in Early Childhood Education at the University of Malaya in 2010. In December 2010, I continued my Ph.D. degree in the same field of Early Childhood Education at Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) on a part-time basis and successfully completed it in 2018. Upon completion of my Master of Education degree in 2006, I was appointed as a Lecturer at IPSAH / IPGKSAH and served there until 2020. In 2018 until 2020 I was the Head of Department, Preschool Department before moving to IPG Tawau Campus, Sabah from 28 February 2020 to 28 August 2020. I have been accepted to serve as a Teaching and Curriculum Lecturer, Department of Leadership, Management and Innovation, School of Education, Universiti Utara Malaysia from 17 September 2020 until now. My area of expertise is Early Childhood Education and experience in formulating the curriculum at the Malaysian Institute of Teacher Education (IPGM) level. I am also a Field Consulting Specialist until now besides being a member of the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) Assessment Panel since 2010 and also a member of Malaysian Early Care & Childhood (ECCE) Council since 2021.
