Saadi bin Ahmad Kamaruddin is currently a Research Fellow at the Institute of Strategic Industrial Decision Modelling (ISIDM), School of Quantitative Sciences (SQS), Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) in Kedah, Malaysia. He earned his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Information Technology and Quantitative Sciences from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) in 2018. Presently, he serves as a senior lecturer in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the School of Quantitative Sciences (SQS), UUM. Additionally, he is the advisor of the UUM My STEM Ambassador club. His primary research interests include pattern recognition, nature-inspired algorithms, and applied statistics. He is a proponent of the idea that learning statistics can be made engaging and enjoyable through STEM Innovations.
