Dr. Rozana Samah is a senior lecturer at the School of Economics, Finance, and Banking (SEFB) at Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM). Her expertise lies in Agriculture Science, Agribusiness Management, and Aquaculture Economics & Management. Dr. Rozana holds a PhD in Agribusiness Management from UUM, a Master of Science in Aquaculture from Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT), and a Bachelor of Science with Honor in Agribusiness Management, also from UUM. She lectures in the area of Agriculture Science and Agribusiness which are Biology, Chemistry, Soil Science, Animal Husbandry, Agronomy, Aquaculture Management, Agribusiness Management, and Agricultural Marketing. Dr. Rozana focuses her research on multidiscipline area of agribusiness management, Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), and innovation in agriculture. She is also actively involved in community projects around UUM, such as a chili fertigation project. Additionally, Dr. Rozana has previously served as the Coordinator for the Bachelor’s Program for four years (2017-2021) and as an Assistant Principal at the student hostel for five years (2017-2022). Currently, she is the advisor for the MyAgrosis Club at UUM and is actively involved in organizing programs for the development of graduates, especially those in the Agribusiness Management program.
