Dr. Rosman obtained his bachelor degree (BSc. in Metallurgical Enginering) form New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology, USA in 1989. In year 2007, he received his master degree (Master in Environmental Management) form Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. Subsequently, in 2013 he obtained his doctorate degree (Doctor of Philosophy) also form UKM. Dr. Rosman has more than 25 years of working experience in industries before he joined UUM as a senior lecturer in 2015. His latest job was a Quality Consultant. As a Quality Consultant, Dr. Rosman had consulted and conducted training to more than 500 private companies and government organizations throughout Malaysia since 1998 in the areas of quality and productivity improvement. Among them are Sumitomo, Hitachi, Mitshushita, BERNAS, PROTON, Hirose, HONDA, Kaneka, Rohm-Wako, Tylon, SONY, SOCSO, and many more. Dr. Rosman has preferences and privileges in the areas of quality and productivity improvement such as ISO 9000, QS 9000, TS 16949, ISO 14000, SPC, FMEA, QCC / ICC, TQM, Root-Cause Analysis, Supply Chain Management (SCM), Lean Production, Six Sigma, Problem Solving, Mistake Proofing, Auditing, Poka-Yoke, Creative Thinking, Lateral Thinking, Change Management, and etc. Dr. Rosman also has experience in Human Resources Management such as supervisory training, Teambuilding, Clerical, Positive Work Attitude and other matters related to the ‘soft skill’ management. He also has extensive experience in the field of management, particularly managing the business and account management. Dr. Rosman considered himself as psychologically resilient and has a very high trust in business and entrepreneurship and very focused on the work (result-oriented person).
