I started my teaching career back in year 2000. Holding a Diploma in Accountancy from Institut Teknologi MARA together with a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) from Charles Sturt University in a town called Wagga Wagga, Australia back in 1995 and 1999 respectively, I was offered a place as a lecturer at Institute Yayasan Bumiputra Pulau Pinang located in Seberang Perai, Penang.. After a year and half passed by I enrolled as a master degree candidate in Master of Business Administration (Accounting) at Universiti Utara Malaysia.
Graduated in 2003 allows me to continue my career as a educator at Kolej Teknologi Pulau situated in Penang Island for almost 2 and a half year. I was exposed to great experience there where it gave me the opportunity to inspire others and saw them achieved success.
My journey continues by joining a government institution, Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia in December 2005 as a tutor. During my service there, I took a step ahead in my learning process. I pursue my Doctor of Philosophy (Accounting) programme at the International Islamic University Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur. Being apart from my family for 4 years during my PhD journey, has taught me to be a person with courage and patience as the study life itself was not an easy move. Competing the journey in October 2013 has seen my career with the current position as a senior lecturer at the place where I am currently serving.
