OVERVIEW
Muhammad Ali Ridha Norman is a senior lecturer of international relations at the School of International Studies (SOIS), Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM). He is also a research fellow at the Asian Institute of International Affairs and Diplomacy (AIIAD). Dr. Ali completed his Master’s Degree at Peking University (PKU) and received his Ph.D. from China Foreign Affairs University (CFAU). His primary research interests revolve around small states’ foreign policy, Southeast Asia-China relations, and great power rivalry. He has published a number of articles in journals and proceedings.
