According to the Malaysia Education Blueprint 2015-2025 (Higher Education) issued by the Ministry of Education Malaysia (2015), the graduates of Malaysia should be shift into holistic, entrepreneurial, also balanced ones to meet the requirements from the local and international job marketing. This requires a comprehensive restructuring of the entire Higher Education system together with the Higher Learning Institutions (HLIs) to prepare Malaysian graduates to flourish in this complicated and rapidly changing future (Ibrahim et al., 2022). Besides, the MEB (HE) concentrating its student aspirations on six main characteristics: morality and spirituality, national identification, language skills, ability to think, and knowledge. Moreover, the foundation of the higher education system has aligned with these samesix qualities in graduates (Hanim et al., 2021). Meanwhile, based on the objectives of HLIs that the Malaysian undergraduates need to achieve a higher level of language proficiency, therefore, they should not only master Malay and English language, but also are recommend picking up another foreign language (Munusamy & Hashim, 2020). Additionally, the accelerated development of the globalization job market and the higher level of requirements for foreign language proficiency about the undergraduate job seekers has also made the higher learning educational landscape undergone a revolution (Dominic et al., 2020). Hence, to promote undergraduate foreign language learner with higher level of academic performance, foreign language instructors and its curriculum designers or developers ought to spend more effort to explore effectiveness teaching and learning strategies of undergraduates’ foreign language curriculum.
