In 1988, I started my career at Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) as an Assistant Administrative Officer. Presently as an associate professor at School of Business Management, UUM, I teach Organizational Behavior, Seminar in Management Thought, Dynamics of Business, and Research Methodology. My research interests are in the area of leadership, emotional intelligence, and work ethic. I have received several research and consultation grants from the Ministry of Higher Education, INSPEN and FAMA. My research works have appeared in various national and international refereed journals such as Jurnal Pengurusan Awam, INTAN Management Journal, International Journal of Innovation, Management and Technology The Journal of Global Business Management, and The Journal of Human Resource and Adult Learning.
