Dr. Nazlina Zakaria, PhD graduate of Universiti Utara Malaysia, currently holds the esteemed position of Associate Professor in Organizational Behaviour/Business Administration at the School of Business Management (SBM), College of Business (COB), UUM. Her academic journey is marked by a profound commitment to research, with a primary focus on various aspects of Organizational Behaviour including organizational innovation, creative behaviour, work-life balance, well-being, human resource management practices, entrepreneurial orientation, job performance, and SME performance. Dr. Nazlina's dedication to scholarly inquiry is evident through her extensive involvement in research projects, having completed ten and currently overseeing three, all supported by diverse national-level funding agencies. Her scholarly contributions extend beyond research projects to include chapters in books, conference proceedings, and over 40 articles in esteemed scholarly journals. Moreover, she actively serves as an esteemed editorial board member and reviewer for international journals. In addition to her research endeavours, Dr. Nazlina is deeply committed to mentoring postgraduate students. She has successfully supervised 10 PhD candidates and 18 master’s students in their research projects. Presently, she is guiding four PhD candidates and four master’s students. Dr. Nazlina's academic expertise is complemented by her extensive teaching experience. She imparts knowledge in various subjects including Principles of Management, Organizational Behaviour, Management Information Systems, Seminar in Management, and Research Methodology. Furthermore, her contributions extend beyond the classroom as she actively participates in advancing SBM's prestigious accreditations, notably AACSB. Within the administrative realm, Dr. Nazlina undertakes pivotal roles at UUM. She serves as the Head of the Business Management Department at SBM, Coordinator for the BBA Executive Program and Distance Learning Program at the Professional and Continuing Education Centre (PACE) UUM, and Postgraduate Program Coordinator for PhD and MSc. Management at SBM, UUM.
