OVERVIEW
Dr Nor Laily Hashim has been an Associate Professor with the School of Computing, Universiti Utara Malaysia, since 2019. She is committed to advancing research, scholarship, and innovation in the areas of User Experience (UX), Accessibility, and Human-Centred Computing. Her research has evolved from foundational computing and software engineering to encompass broader interdisciplinary domains such as Human-Computer Interaction, Cybersecurity, and Inclusive Design. This progression has enabled me to explore critical topics, including usability, accessibility, secure software development, and the mitigation of malicious threats, contributing to safer, more inclusive, and higher-quality digital experiences. She also holds professional certifications in software testing, such as Certified Testing Foundation Level (CTFL), CTFL Usability Testing (CTFL-UT), Certified Testing Advanced Level Testing Test Analyst (CTAL-TTA), Certified Testing Advanced Level Testing Technical Test Analyst (CTAL-TTA) and Certified Testing Advanced Level Testing Test Manager (CTAL-TM). She has published and co-authored numerous technical papers on software testing, software frameworks, usability, and user experience in Scopus, ISI-indexed proceedings, and journals in related fields. She is also the editor-in-chief for the Journal of Digital System Development. She is also a Professional Technologist registered under the Malaysian Board of Technology (MBOT), a member of the Human Factors and Ergonomics (HFEM), a member of the Association of Human-Computer Interaction Malaysia (myHCI-UX) and also as Chair of Badan Kebajikan Keluarga Angkatan Tentera (BAKAT) Palapes UPSI.
