Habibah Tolos is a senior lecturer at the Department of Banking and Risk Management, School of Finance and Banking, College of Business, Universiti Utara Malaysia. In 2012, She was conferred a Doctorate from University of Hull, United Kingdom under the area of Retirement Systems. She gained her MA in Management systems from the same university after completed her BSBA in Actuarial Science from University of Hartford, USA and Diploma in Actuarial Science from UiTM Malaysia. Previously she has served American Malaysian Insurance (AMI) and Great Eastern Life Assurance (GEL) before joining UUM. She is a course coordinator for undergraduate programme of Risk management and Insurance-UUM and in the same time appointed as a principal researcher under the Institute for Management and Business Research (IMBRe-UUM). Habibah carries with her nearly 20 years of academic experience. Her areas of specialization and research interest includes Retirement Systems, Pension, Choice Making and Employee Benefit Management.
