Assocciate Professor Dr. Mohamad Khairi Haji Othman holds the doctoral degree from Universiti Putra Malaysia in the field of Values and Islamic Education; Master of Education (Islamic Education) from Universiti Malaya; and Bachelor of Islamic Education also from Universiti Malaya. Him areas of specialization are Islamic Education, Values and Moral Education, Pedagogy. He was a teacher at secondary school and was appointed as Lecturer at the Centre of Islamic Education, UiTM Shah Alam, as Assistant Director at YADIM and as a Lecturer of Islamic Education Programme at Academy of Islamic Studies, Universiti Malaya before join UUM. He was appointed as a Lecturer with Universiti Utara Malaysia in November 2004. Currenttly, he is a Assocciate Professor in the School of Education, UUM. He is interested and involved in research, publication and consultancy works in the field of Islamic Education, Values/Moral Education, Curriculum & Pedagogy and Islamic Management.
