Dr Mohamad Farizal RAJEMI is an Associate Professor at the School of Management Technology and Logistics, Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM). Presently, he holds the position of Vice President/Asia Regional Director for the Vienna, Austria-based organisation Asian European University Network (ASEA UNINET). At present, he holds the rank of Captain and is an officer in the Malaysian Territorial Army Regiment. Prior to that, he served as the Director of the UUM Centre for International Affairs & Cooperation (CIAC) for a period of four years (2016-2019), the Dean for Student Affairs, the Deputy Dean, the Residential Principal, the vice-principal, and residential fellow of the UUM Residential Colleges from 2002 to 2007. Dr. Rajemi earned his doctorate and master's degree in mechanical engineering from The University of Manchester, United Kingdom. A Bachelor of Engineering (Mech.) degree was bestowed upon him by Universiti Teknologi MARA in Malaysia. The topic of "sustainable and green manufacturing" is his principal area of research interest. A number of refereed journals, particularly in the manufacturing field, were authored by Dr. Rajemi. The majority of the presented works concern sustainability issues.
