OVERVIEW

I am a senior lecturer in the Tunku Puteri Intan Safinaz School of Accountancy Science at Universiti Utara Malaysia and has been a member of the faculty since 1998. I received a Bachelor degree in Accounting and a Master degree in Accounting from Universiti Teknologi MARA. My research interests in accounting are in the areas of accounting software and information systems, accounting education, accounting simulation, role of auditors, electronic taxation, and e-government. I received research grant from the university and the Ministry of Education including the Knowledge Transfer Program, ABEM and LEADs. I teach undergraduate courses including Principle of Accounting, Accounting Information Systems, System Analysis and Design, Audit and Assurance and Business Accounting. I am the author of several papers in journals and proceedings as well as in a few book chapters. I serve as a facilitator in the UUM Business Simulation Program and as advisor for the UUM Enactus Team.
