Dr. Mohd Saifoul Zamzuri Noor is a highly accomplished academic with a strong focus on economics, business administration, and development studies. He completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Economics (1995) and Master’s in Business Administration (2000) at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), followed by a PhD in Development from Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) in 2016.
Throughout his career, Dr. Mohd Saifoul Zamzuri Noor has been recognized for his academic excellence, receiving multiple Anugerah Perkhidmatan Cemerlang (Excellent Service Awards) from UUM (2008, 2013, and 2023). His significant contributions to academic publications have earned him awards such as the Publication Award from HIPUM and UMK in 2022. Internationally, he received the Agro Ric Research Award in 2023.
He leads and participates in several funded research projects, including the Zakat Kedah Grant (2022) on digital aid for orphaned children in Kedah and co-researching projects under the LRGS-KPT (2019) and AIM Research Grant (2021). His involvement in national planning, including the Kedah 2035 Development Plan and showcases his dedication to addressing societal challenges.
In addition to his research, he contributes to the academic community as a reviewer, examiner, and mentor. He has served on numerous national academic committees and conducted SPSS workshops for faculty and students. Latest he involve in Community project- Prokar (Kambing untuk Rakyat) & Cili Madani, 2024.
He is committed to advancing knowledge in economics and development, making valuable contributions to both academic research and community development.
