OVERVIEW
I earned my PhD in economics from the University of Otago, and did a year of postdoctoral research at Amsterdam School of Economics. I also won a travel grant to Germany's Leibniz Institute for the Social Science and did a research stint there. My main expertise areas revolve around migration economics and applied microeconometrics, with special interest in program evaluation techniques.
