OVERVIEW

Halimah Abdul Manaf is Associate Professor in the School of Government, University Utara Malaysia. She obtained a PhD in the field of public management from the University of Hull, UK. Her areas of expertise are the human resource management in the public sector and local government. In terms of administrative experience, she was the formal Coordinator of the Bachelor of Public Management and formal Deputy Director of Distance Learning, Universiti Utara Malaysia. She is the executive board of the Asian Pacific Society for Public Affairs, the editorial board of several journals, reviewers article for some journals include Public Management Review and the International Journal of Public Sector Management and Performance.
