OVERVIEW

Wan Laailatul Hanim Mat Desa is a lecturer at the Department of Decision Science, School of Quantitative Sciences, Universiti Utara Malaysia. Currently, she is pursuing her PhD at School of Mechanical Engineering, Universiti Sains Malaysia, Penang, Malaysia. She also holds a MSc in Decision Science from Universiti Utara Malaysia and a Bachelor Sc (Hons) in Statistics from Universiti Putra Malaysia. Her research interest is in development of Discrete Event Simulation (DES), System Dynamics (SD) and computer simulation modelling in manufacturing/industry discipline but can be flexible to other area. Moreover, she is also having a great interest to solve other problems using Operations Research approach. She have thought several courses for undergraduate students such as computer modelling in business, simulation for decision making, managerial mathematics, elementary statistics, applied statistics and decision making techniques.
