OVERVIEW

Hasimah Sapiri is currently a senior lecturer at Universiti Utara Malaysia.She has a PhD in Operational Research from Universiti Sains Malaysia, Masters in Mathematics from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and Bachelors in Mathematics from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.. Her research interest cover developing a model in solving problems on several research areas e.g. healthcare (tobacco control model on preventing smoking prevalence), economics (Malaysian palm oil domestic demand) and education (modeling academics staff performance). she is focusing in simulation technique i.e. System Dynamics in order to develop the stated models. she is also interested in analyzing a risk financial problem in a pension system and is open to other fields to work on, i.e., social science studies, risk management and any mathematical modeling.
