OVERVIEW

Harlida Abdul Wahab is an Associate Professor at School of Law, College of Law, Government and International Studies, UUM. She obtained a bachelor degree, LL.B (Hons), from International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), LL.M (Business Law) from Aberystwyth University, United Kingdom, and Ph.D (Law) from IIUM. Her major area is employment and labour law. Her other areas of interest are environmental law, commercial law and human rights. She has authored books, chapters in books and article journals on the topics of labour, environment, rights of people with disabilities and other commercial law areas. She has been working on research projects funded by Ministry of Higher Education, University (UUM) and other agencies like SOCSO. The research projects are relating to employment and labour issues such as employment discrimination, employment of OKU (people with disabilities), retrenchment, return to work programme and trade unionism. Other research that she involved includes environmental issues, river pollution, human dignity, consumer protection, and support services for OKU students.
