Prof. Dr. Haslinda Ibrahim areas of expertise are combinatorial design and graph theory. She is also keen in venturing research on developing dynamic and robust mathematical techniques for analytical subjects. She received Bsc(Mathematics), Msc(Mathematics) and PhD(mathmatics from Michigan State University, Indiana State University and Southern Illinoiis University respectively. Due to her profound contributions in research and publications, she has been awarded several awards such University Best Research Award(University Utara Malaysia), Dissertation Research Award (Southern Illinois University), Outstanding PhD Teaching Assistant (Soutehrn Illinois University) Excellence Service Award (Universiti Utara Malaysia) and Bronze Medal Award, 9th Malaysia Technology Expo: Invention and Innovation Awards(Malaysia).She has published papers in diverse areas in combinatorics, MCDM, Manpower planning, and Fuzzy Theory that are indexed by ERA, ISI or SCOPUS. She was a visiting scholar at University of Bahrain (2015 – 2017). She is the managing editor for Mathematical Science letter and a mathematical reviewer for American Mathematical Society.
