OVERVIEW
I completed my Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with Honours at Universiti Sains Malaysia in 1992. Following that, I obtained my Master of Science in Information Systems from the University of Liverpool, United Kingdom in 1993. In 2009, I achieved my Doctorate in Health Informatics (Software Engineering) from Universiti Sains Malaysia. I used to be as Chairman of the Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT) from 2010 to 2011, BIT coordinator from 2009 to 2010, Vice Director of the Research Innovation and Management Center (RIMC) from 2014 Over 26 years as an academician, I have been honored with three UUM Excellence Performance Awards in 2002, 2009, and 2021. My research interests primarily lie in the areas of Data Management, Software Quality, Metrics, and Assessment, and Software Architecture. In 2012, I was also involved as a research member and participated in a significant long-term research grant from the Ministry of Higher Education focusing on Flood Management in Malaysia, particularly in the sustainability of Flood Management architecture. Currently, I am serving as a research fellow at the Data Management and Software Solution (DMSS) Lab. I am currently engaged in the MyMoheS Project, a collaborative research endeavor between the Ministry of Higher Education and Universiti Utara Malaysia since 2020.
