Md. Zahurul Haq is a Senior Lecturer (International) at the School of Law, Universiti Utara Malaysia. Previously, he worked as an Associate Professor and Dean at the Faculty of Law, Eastern University, Bangladesh. He also served TM (Telecom Malaysia) International Bangladesh Limited as inhouse lawyers for its Human Resources Division. Besides, he had an opportunity to work in the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) in Paris as intern in summer 2006. He began his career as research assistant and consultant for the Department of Justice, Canada, in their joint judicial and capacity building project with the World Bank, for the Ministry of Law, Bangladesh. He received his PhD from the Department of Law, University of Wollongong, Australia, preceded by an LL.M. (Cyber Law) from the Swedish Law and Informatics Research Institute (IRI), Stockholm University, Sweden. Prior to this, he graduated with LL.B. (Honours) and LL.M. from the University of Dhaka (Bangladesh).
