Dr. Mohd Hilmi bin Hamzah is an Associate Professor at the School of Languages, Civilisation and Philosophy, Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM), Kedah, Malaysia. He is also the Deputy Dean at Awang Had Salleh Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, UUM. He received his PhD in Phonetics from the University of Melbourne, Australia in 2014. His research interests include Phonetics and Phonology, Applied Linguistics, Speech Science and Technology, Dialectology, Pronunciation Teaching and Learning, and English Language Teaching. He is currently working on a Cambridge Elements Series project with the Cambridge University Press.
