Ooi Sue Chern is a senior lecturer at the School of Accountancy, College of Business, Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM). She received her PhD and Master in Accounting from University of Essex, UK. Prior to joining Universiti Utara Malaysia, she gained vast industry experience. Sue Chern has taught various financial accounting courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Her research interests focus primarily on financial accounting and reporting, accountability and governance in charities, farmers' organisation, social enterprises and non-profit organisations and social and environmental accounting.
