Dr. Asmahany binti Ramely is an academic and professional in Tourism and Event Management. She currently holds the position of Senior Lecturer at the School of Tourism, Hospitality & Event Management at UUM. Additionally, she serves as the Research Leader of the Event Management Research Unit. Dr. Asmahany earned her Ph.D. in Tourism Management from UUM, with a focus on community support and festival development. She also holds a master's degree in Tourism Management (Marketing) and a Bachelor's Degree in Tourism.
Dr. Asmahany's academic journey began at UUM in 2010 as a Lecturer and later advanced to the position of Senior Lecturer in 2021. During this period, she also taught at LimKokWing University from 2010 to 2012. In addition to her academic career, she has contributed her expertise as a Public Relations and Marketing specialist at Boffin Event Management since 2019, as well as at Key Seekers Event Management & Consultation from 2016 to 2019.
