OVERVIEW
Herman Shah Anuar is now responsible to lead Professional and Continuing Education Centre (PACE) UUM. This center focuses on Distance Learning Education promoting 6 Undergraduate Degree programs on part time basis which includes Bach. in Business Administration (BBA), Bach. Public Management (BPM), Bach in Islamic Finance and Banking (BIFB), Bach in Creative Industry Management (BCIM), Bach Communiation (B.Comm) and Bach. Muamalat. He has more than 15 years teaching experience both Undergraduate and Post Graduate level. Till today he managed to produce 6 Doctoral students, and 35 Master Degree students. He obtained his PhD in Technology, Operations and Logistics from Universiti Utara Malaysia in 2013. He accomplished his MA in Communication Management from University of Alabama at Birmingham, Alabama, USA, in 2010 and MBA in 2007 from UUM. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Technology from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), in 2003. Herman's research interest includes Intellectual property Rights, Value Management, R&D Management, and Innovation. Prior joining academic world, Herman had few years teaching experience at school and college level. He also had the opportunity to serve as the Special Officer to the Vice Chancellor for 20 months from 2015 to 2017. He actively involved in several professional bodies including Chartered Institute of Management (CMI), based in the UK, Parent teacher association (PTA) at Sek. Men SAINS Kubang Pasu and MRSM Arau. Apart from that, he experienced organising the UUM-Kyoto Sangyo University English Summer Program since 2020. Till today Kyoto Sangyo Uni, Japan had sent 78 of their students attending the program in the year 2020, 2023, and 2024. Recently he was assigned to lead the Program Pentauliahan Pensyarah Politeknik dan Kolej Komuniti Malaysia for 3 months starting on 5th Nov 2023 until 7th Feb 2024 at UUM Sintok campus.
