OVERVIEW
Ani Munirah Mohamad is a senior lecturer at the School of Law, research fellow at Center for Testing, Measurement and Appraisal (CeTMA), and associate fellow at Legal and Justice Research Center (LJRC) of Universiti Utara Malaysia, Sintok, Kedah, Malaysia. She holds a PhD in Law from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia. Additionally, she graduated with Bachelor of Laws (Hons.), Master of Comparative Laws, and Postgraduate Diploma in Shariah Law and Practice in 2003, 2004 and 2005 respectively from the International Islamic University Malaysia, Chartered Professional in Islamic Finance (CIFP) from INCEIF and PG Diploma in Higher Education Learning and Teaching (PGDHELT) from Universiti Utara Malaysia. Upon completing her legal pupillage at a prominent legal firm in Kuala Lumpur, she practiced law at the same firm for 3 years. Her research areas are information technology law, cyber law, evidence and procedural laws, and research methodologies. She frequently engages in research areas of cyber crimes, cyber laws, Islamic finance and publishes in various reputable academic articles.
