OVERVIEW
Ani Munirah Mohamad is an associate professor at the School of Law, a research fellow at Center for Testing, Measurement and Appraisal (CeTMA) and associate fellow at Legal and Justice Research Centre (LJRC) of Universiti Utara Malaysia, Sintok, Kedah, Malaysia. She holds a PhD in Law from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia. Earlier, she graduated with Bachelor of Laws (Hons.), Master of Comparative Laws, and Postgraduate Diploma in Shariah Law and Practice from the International Islamic University Malaysia. Apart from that, her passion in Islamic finance and education further led her to obtain Chartered Professional in Islamic Finance (CIFP) from INCEIF and PG Diploma in Higher Education Learning and Teaching (PGDHELT) from Universiti Utara Malaysia. Prior to joining the academia, she practised law at a prominent legal firm in Kuala Lumpur. Her research areas are information technology law, cyber law, evidence and procedural laws, and research methodologies. She frequently engages in research areas of cyber crimes, cyber laws, Islamic finance and publishes in various reputable academic articles.
