OVERVIEW
Ts Dr Adam Mohd Saifudin is an Associate Professor in School of Technology Management and Logistics (STML), Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM). He obtained his Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) in 2012, UUM ,specializing in Warehouse & Logistics Operations and Management. He lectured for the undergrads in the fields of logistics and supply chain, MBA post-graduates and supervised masters and doctoral students in DBA and Phd. His research expertise is in the area of Warehousing, Logistics Management, and Halal Supply Chain. He has published several journals and presented many papers in the international conferences, and were awarded Best Papers at 2nd AFAP AICEBM (UTM-JB), Malaysia & AFAP, 2015; 5th ICBSSS (Bangkok), Asian Research and Development Wing, 2016; and 1st National Conference on Transport Policy and Safety, STML, UUM, 2017. Dr Adam serves as Deputy President in The Society of Logisticians Malaysia (LogM), and is a Fellow LogM (FlogM) and Senior Logistician. He is also professionally certified with a Chartered (CMILT) by The Chartered Institute of Logistics &Transport (CILT) (UK); Professional Technologist (PTech) in the area of Transportation and Logistics Technology (TL) by MBOT; and Assessment Panel of MQA for Logistics, Transportation and SCM Programs. Dr Adam is also appointed as Senior Visiting Fellows to Ranaco Institute of Training and Education (RITE) and AK Academy; Fellow Researcher to Asian Halal Laboratory Institute (AHAL), STML, UUM; and Associate Fellow to Disaster Management Institute (DMI), STML, UUM. He was awarded the UUM Excellence Service Award 2017; Merit Excellent in T&L Program 2014, UTLC; Icon Contributor 2017, UUM Sultanah Bahiyah Library; and National LogM President’s Award 2018, in recognition as ‘Outstanding Logistics Research 2018’ for the research he led entitled ‘The Islamic Supply Chain Model’ (TRGS : 2015-2018).
