I am an Associate Professor at Universiti Utara Malaysia. My Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management is from Widener University, USA. Prior to that, I did my Diploma in Food Service Management at Universiti Teknologi MARA. I obtained my Master in Business Administration from Universiti Utara Malaysia and Ph.D from University of Queensland, Australia. I am teaching graduate and undergraduate courses on Hospitality Management. Specifically, these courses are Housekeeping, Management of Hotel Operation, Front Office Management, Human Resource Management in Tourism and Hospitality and Hospitality Management Accounting. I also supervises undergraduate and postgraduate research students. My research interest are on the areas of Human Resources Management in the Hospitality Industry and other related areas. I have published a number of articles in national and international proceedings and journals.
