OVERVIEW
My academic career started in 2003 when I joined Faculty of Communication and Modern Languages, Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) as a Tutor. Prior to that I received my first degree in Information Technology with Honors from UUM in 2002 and continue to work as a Marketing Executive and Editor at a health product manufacturing organization. In 2004, I went for my master degree at RMIT University, Melbourne Australia and in 2005, I received my Master of Arts in Advertising. I was then promoted as a lecturer has been teaching media and advertising subjects at undergraduate and postgraduate level. Currently, I am a PhD. Candidate at the Faculty of Modern Languages and Communication, Universiti Putra Malaysia. My research is on ethnic consumers’ behavior towards diversity in advertisements. I have been a member to groups of researchers studying attitude on new media and the effectiveness of intervention towards soft-skills in student. I am also interested in studying the role of religious belief in information processing.
