RESEARCH AREA

OVERVIEW
I am a senior lecturer at School of Languages, Civilization, and Philosophy, College of Arts and Sciences.Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM), Sintok, Kedah. I earned a Diploma in English from MARA Community College in 1997, a Bachelor of Arts with a major in English from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale in 1999, and a Master of Applied Linguistics from Adelaide University in South Australia in 2005 (listed under Group of Eight -Go8). I have obtained my PhD degree in English Language Studies from University Kebangsaan Malaysia. I have received several grants for my research include the University Fund, Leads Grant, and Alumni Student Development Grant, while serving as both a leader and a member.
