Rohaya Md Ali is an Associate Professor at the School of Languages, Civilization and Philosophy, University Utara Malaysia (UUM), Sintok, Kedah. Graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree, majoring in Media Studies (Publishing and Journalism) and a minor in Malay Studies from the University of Malaya (UM) Kuala Lumpur. Also holds a Master's degree in Malay Literature (in the field of Malay Philology) from the University of Malaya (UM) Kuala Lumpur. Obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Children's Literature from the University of Science Malaysia (USM) Penang. Research areas include children's literature, traditional and modern literature, and digital literature/new media.
