I am a senior lecturer and a researcher in the School of Quantitative Sciences at the Universiti Utara Malaysia. Also I am working under Computational Intelligent in Decision Making Group (CIDM). My interests include Operational Research, Evolutionary Computing, Scheduling, Timetabling and Heuristics & Metaheuristics. I received my PhD in Computer Science at the University of Nottingham in 2012. My supervisors were Professor Edmund Burke, Professor Andrzej Bargiela and Dr. Ender Ozcan from Automated Scheduling, Optimisation and Planning Research Group (ASAP), University of Nottingham and Barry McCollum from Queen Belfast University. My PhD thesis work is on Search Methodologies for Examination Timetabling.
