OVERVIEW
Norhafezah Yusof is a Professor in Department of Communication, School of Multimedia Technology and Communication, Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM). She obtained her BHSc and MHSc (Communication) from International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) and her PhD (Communication) from Nottingham Trent University, United Kingdom. She has been teaching and researching since 2001 at UUM. She was a Visiting Scholar at Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information, Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. She received a leadership training scholarship under DAAD, Germany. She has been appointed as a master trainer for Learner Diversity with the Higher Education Leadership Academy (AKEPT), University Teaching and Learning Centre (UTLC), UUM and communication panel/expert for Malaysian Qualification Agency (MQA). Professor Dr Norhafezah has served as the manager for Communication Program at the Professional and Continuing Education Center (PACE), the postgraduate coordinator for Communication Program (Humanities) and the undergraduate coordinator for Communication Program, Head of Department, Deputy Dean (School of Multimedia Technology & Communication) and Dean of Awang Had Salleh Graduate School, UUM College of Arts and Sciences, UUM. Her research areas are organizational communication, instructional communication and intercultural communication. She is an active researcher and has completed international and national grants. She is passionate in publishing journal articles, book chapters and newspaper columns. She has published in reputed local and international journals.
