OVERVIEW
My highest degree is MBA (Accounting). Currently, I am pursuing my PhD Studies on a part-time basis at Islamic Business School (IBS), College of Business, Universiti Utara Malaysia focusing on Soulful Competence and Ethical Practices in Acccounting Professional Works. I am a Financial Accounting lecturer and teaching mostly final year undergraduates and have some experiences teaching MSc International Accounting students Financial Accounting Theory and Reporting Practices for several semesters. Most of my teaching are focused on Accounting Theory and Practice and Integrated Case Studies which are in line with my interest on the real accounting practices of the accounting profession in accounting/audit firms as well as in corporations. I have received several research grant from the school, IMBRe, university, FRGS MoE, as well as external grant from CPA Australia and MICPA for research works in issues relating to management teaching case, accounting education and accounting profession related to competence and acccounting practices. To date, I am working on a research on acccounting education standards compliant using MICPA Grant and a new teaching case proposal application for IMBRe Grant.
