OVERVIEW
Muhammad Rosni Amir Hussin is currently an associate professor in Management Accounting at Tunku Puteri Intan Safinaz School of Accountancy Universiti Utara Malaysia (TISSA UUM). In 2016, he was successfully defended his Phd in Management with a thesis on “Improving the understanding of small and medium enterprises product costing content course through action research” from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). The major output and contribution of his Phd thesis was developed Product and Service Costing Module using practical action research method that continuously use in Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) training programme in Malaysia. His involvement in entrepreneurship training continues to grow when he is involved as a speaker and facilitator with various entrepreneurship programs such as those organized by SME Corporation (SMECorp), Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia (SSM), North Corridor Economic Region (NCER), Center for Entrepreneur Development and Research (CEDAR) and the Entrepreneurship and Cooperative Development Institute, Universiti Utara Malaysia (CEDI-UUM). Beside training related to entrepreneurship scope, he is also actively involved with training programme related to Project and Operation Management such as with INOKOM Corporation Sdn. Bhd. He is involved with action research training with various institution such as Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT) and currently is appointed as a team developer for Scholarship of Teaching of Learning (SoTL) module under Higher Education Leadership Academy (AKEPT). He is one of the evaluation panels in the Polis Diraja Malaysia (PDRM) Competency Programme. Finally, his contribution to the community is continuous as he appointed as one of the consultants to Rumah Gemilang, Sik Kedah for almost 10 years. He has awarded with Staff of the year in 2016 by TISSA-UUM, Excellent Service Award in 2008 & 2017 and Best Club Advisor in 2017 by Universiti Utara Malaysia. In 2021 he was awarded with Best e-Teaching Portfolio (BetPA) 2021 organized by Tunku Puteri Intan Safinaz School of Accountancy (TISSA-UUM).
