OVERVIEW
My research area focuses on crime analysis, index development and statistical modeling. My interest now is in environmental statistics which describe the quality and availability of natural resources, human activities and natural events that affect the environment. Environmental statistics are important to provide a sound basis for decision-making, to monitor progress and to support public awareness with respect to the environment. Environmental statistics structure, synthesize and aggregate environment and other data according to statistical methods, standards and procedures. Environmental statistics process environmental data into meaningful statistics that describe conditions and trends the environment and the main processes that affect it In addition, I also led several research grants titled 'Mapping Property Crime Locations Based on Weighted Multicriteria Index for Districts in Peninsular Malaysia', ‘Developing Index and Modelling the Criteria of Zakat Recipient in Kedah’, ‘Robust High Breakdown Correlation Coefficients Based On Reweighted Approach’, ‘I'M STEM Teachers & I'M HOTS: Holistic Index for Meaningful Teaching Practices of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) in Secondary Schools’ and a few more
