OVERVIEW
I obtained my BSc. in Electrical Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology (1995), MSc. IT from Universiti Sains Malaysia (2000) and a PhD. in Mechatronics Engineering (2010) in the field of Speech Recognition. My working experience includes a Manufacturing Engineer in Robert Bosch from 1995 till 1997 and a process Engineer in Seagate from 1997 till 1999. Currently, I am a senior lecturer in Universiti Utara Malaysia. My researches and publications are in the fields of speech recognition, entrepreneurship, artificial intelligence, edutainment and pattern recognition. I have held administration post as Deputy Dean in the Faculty of Technology Management and currently the program coordinator of MSc. Technopreneurship. I have my innovation products under my belt and currently in the process on commercialization. I have won many recognition in local and international exhibitions. One of my biggest strength is an ability to think outside the box to come out with innovative solution to difficult and complex problems.
