OVERVIEW
Nasruddin is an Associate Professor at the School of Economics, Finance and Banking, College of Business, Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM). He obtained his PhD from the University of New England, Australia and both Bachelor of Science (Finance) and MBA from the Indiana State University, USA. Prior to joining UUM, he worked as a credit officer in a commercial bank. Serving UUM for about 30 years, he has extensive teaching experience in various finance courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. His long-standing interest, however, is in the area of working capital management and small business finance. Additionally, Nasruddin has also given training to courses organised by statutory and private bodies, like Malaysia Franchise Association and Malaysia Airport Berhad to name a few, on topics related to business and finance. Besides co-authoring and translating a number of books on credit and financial management, Nasruddin has also published and presented research papers both locally and overseas. While in UUM, he has held several administrative posts such as Dean (Academic) for the UUM College of Business, Deputy Dean (Academic) for the School of Finance and Banking, and Director for the UUM Matriculation Centre. He was also once a Visiting Associate Professor at the Tashkent State Technical University, Uzbekistan.
