OVERVIEW
Norsiah Abdul Hamid is an Associate Professor at the School of Multimedia Technology and Communication, Universiti Utara Malaysia. She received her PhD in Information Science from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. Her areas of interest include the impact of media on society, media psychology, women and gender issues, and knowledge society. Current research projects include digital parenting and digital resilience, branding credibility and virtual operation, and media literacy among community members. She is also preparing a book manuscript on media psychology in Malaysia.
