Fadzilah Siraj is an Associate Professor at School of Computing, College of Arts and Sciences, UUM, and former Head of the Business and Development Services of SerindIT Com UUM Sdn. Bhd. Prior to this post, she was the Deputy Director of Business Computer Intelligence Centre of the same UUM’s business company. She received a BSc. in Technological Maths and Computing, and MSc. In Information Technology from Aston University, UK. In addition, she has completed her PhD in Information Technology. She has completed several research grants; won several medals in research and innovation showcases at the International and National levels as well as receiving awards including several publication and services awards. She has authored and co-authored 2 books, namely “Pengantar Matematik Pengurusan”, and “M-Learning for Curriculum Enrichment”, published several international book chapters, technical papers in conferences and peer-reviewed journals. She is also served as Co-editor for International Journal of Information and Computer Telecommunication, contributed as committee for conferences, editorial team and manuscript reviewers at National and International levels.
Her research interests are in data mining, artificial intelligence including web-based and wireless based applications using neural networks, fuzzy logic, case-based, expert system and hybrid applications for social, medical, education, business and engineering mainly. One of her research project NN in Concrete Mixes has been patented. She is currently a member of IEEE, IEEE Computer Society, IAEng, and Scopus.
