OVERVIEW
Ruzinoor Che Mat is currently an Associate Professor of Multimedia at the School of Creative Industry Management & Performing Arts, Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM). He has taught various courses in the areas of the creative industry and interactive media. His previous position was as Deputy Director of the Professional and Continuing Education Centre (PACE) at UUM. His education started with a Certificate in Computer Engineering (Electronic) and continued with a Diploma in Computer Engineering (Electronic). He received a BEng (Hons.) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Coventry University, United Kingdom and continued with an MSc. Computer Graphics and Virtual Environment from the University of Hull, United Kingdom. Finally, a PhD in GIS and Geomatic Engineering from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). His research interests include reverse engineering, 3D GIS, terrain visualization, game engines, remote sensing and GIS application, virtual reality, computer graphics and visualization.
