My area of interests include among others are internal auditing, auditing the understanding of accounting for non-accounting individuals (students). Previous works undertaken were the practice of internal auditing in state and local government; knowledge about the practice of auditing among accounting students, fraud occurrence and identification in the local government. Also a member of a consultation project about the Sustainability of PTPTN.
I have also expanded my research areas to include business zakat, zakat productive and zakat institutions.
Generous providers for the research grants were LZNK, IRPA and UUM. At present, I am a Research Fellow (RF) at the Institut Penyelidikan dan Inovasi Zakat (IPIZ) Universiti Utara Malaysia.
