OVERVIEW
Dr Bakti is an Associate Professor at the School of Economics, Finance & Banking at UUM, Malaysia. He obtained his Ph.D. in Environmental Valuation from the University of Newcastle, UK. His research interests are in environmental and tourism economics, particularly developing and applying economics valuation methods. He is currently supervising four Ph.D./DBA candidates. Dr Bakti has published numerous articles, among others, in the International Journal of Tourism Research(ISI/Scopus-indexed), Singapore Economic Review (ISI/Scopus-indexed), and Jurnal Ekonomi Malaysia (Scopus-indexed). He also has presented numerous academic papers at regional, national, and international seminars/conferences
