Haslinda Mohd Anuar is a senior lecturer at the School of Law, College of Law, Government and International Studies (COLGIS), Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM). She holds a degree in Bachelor of Laws (LL.B Hons) from International Islamic University, Malaysia in 1994; Master of Law (LL.M in Public Law) from University of Wales Aberystwyth, United Kingdom in 1996; and PhD in Environmental Law from Newcastle University, United Kingdom in 2015. Prior joining the academic line, she served as a legal officer at Penang Municipal Council for three years. Her research areas are environmental law, constitutional law and adminstrative law. Besides these areas of interest, she also supervises a number of students in international law and human rights. Haslinda published a number of books, scopus and indexed articles in various journals, as well as in the conference proceedings. Regionally, she is a member in the TTT Environmental Law Champion network supported by Asian Development Bank and locally, she joins Malaysian Nature Society.
